Galadrim supports The Bradery in the management of its digital ecosystem.
The Bradery is a startup founded in 2019 by two young entrepreneurs, Timothée Linyer and Edouard Carasco. Their idea starts from a simple observation: many brands, as attractive as they are, have overstock on quality products.
To reduce this inventory, The Bradery offers private sales of hand-picked brands. These sales are available both on the website and on themobile app.
The success was immediate. The company generated a turnover of 1 million euros in 2019, 15 million in 2020 and nearly 50 million in 2021. On the strength of this growth, Showroomprivé, a major player in the sector, bought 51% of the company's shares in 2022.
It quickly became necessary for The Bradery, which makes 100% of its sales online, to strengthen its digital strategy in order to offer optimal services to both end customers and partner brands. It is in this context that Galadrim has been supporting the company since 2021.
We intervene on thecontinuous improvement of the site and on the development of a set of tools and applications integrated to the digital ecosystem of the company.
For example, we have developed a dashboard that allows brands to view statistics on each of their sales. The dashboard displays in particular:
the average user basket
retrocession
details of all sales by product
charts on the distribution of sales by region and by age group
With the dashboard, brands have a precise overview of their sales and an increased knowledge of their customers' consumption habits, which is a real added value.
We also assisted the company in the redesign of its mobile application, historically developed via a no-code tool.
One of the challenges of this redesign was managing peak usage. When a sale goes live, tens of thousands of users can connect simultaneously. It was therefore necessary to implement an architecture that could handle these peaks. To handle this surge, we used AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
We also developed a custom back-office that allows you to manage the content of the application and preview the rendering.
Our back-end also interacts with theShopify API to sync orders and user information.
Today, it has over 100,000 downloads on the Play Store and over 200,000 on the App Store.
